Dan Oates is a partner and co-head of Ropes & Gray’s private equity industry group. He advises private equity and corporate clients on a wide range of transactions in the UK and Europe, including cross-border acquisitions and leveraged buyouts, disposals, public-to-private transactions, and minority investments. For more than 20 years, Dan has led legal teams across a range of industries, including technology, software, data, telecommunications, investment management, health care, life sciences, and retail and consumer products.
