Anushka Shah joined the Ropes & Gray finance group in London in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Anushka was an associate in one of India’s leading law firms, where she practiced corporate and transactional law focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
Anushka has earned an LL.B. degree from Government Law College, Mumbai University, India, where she graduated in the top 1% of her class. She has an LL.M. degree focusing on corporate law from the New York University School of Law. During her LL.M., Anushka was a research fellow in the Securities Enforcement Empirical Database and served as a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of Law & Business.
Prior to her legal career, Anushka earned a B.Com. (Accounting & Finance) from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai University, India, where she graduated in the top 2% of her class.

- Advised Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and Mizuho on all the financing elements of Outbrain’s acquisition of Teads, which consisted of a $625 million funded bridge facility, a $100 million revolving credit facility, and issuance of $637.5 million of 10.000% senior secured notes due 2030, which was used to refinance the bridge facility.
