Daniel Sotsky is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s mergers and acquisitions group in the New York office. Daniel represents public and private companies in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, sale transactions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and general corporate matters across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Daniel was an associate in the New York office of another international law firm.

- Represented Cannae Holdings, Inc. in its creation of an external management structure and entry into a management services agreement with Trasimene Capital Management, LLC.*

- Represented Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, in a joint venture with Aethon Energy, in the $735 million acquisition of natural gas and oil producing properties, undeveloped acreage and associated gas gathering and treating systems in the Haynesville/Cotton Valley area of Louisiana from QEP Resources, Inc.*
- Represented Sanofi in its $3.2 billion acquisition of Translate Bio, Inc.*
- Represented Skillsoft Corp. in its $525 million acquisition of Ryzac, Inc. (d/b/a “Codecademy”).*
