Tegan Shyne is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s asset management group specialising in financial services regulation. Tegan advises clients on matters relating to investment funds, ESG and sustainable finance, and general regulatory matters impacting financial institutions and fund managers.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Tegan was an associate at the London office of another international law firm, where she advised financial institutions on financial services regulatory matters and the formation of FCA-regulated funds. During her time there, she was seconded to a global investment bank to work in their derivatives and trading legal team. Tegan started her career in the legal team of a global asset manager, where she worked on various regulatory matters impacting the firm.

Experience

  • Represented Limerston Capital, a UK mid-market private equity firm, on the final close of its second fund, Limerston Capital Partners II, with total commitments of £245 million, exceeding the size of its inaugural fund.
