Rachel Tritter is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s tax and benefits department. Rachel advises investors and private fund sponsors on a variety of tax matters relating to the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds. She also provides counsel on the federal income tax aspects of transactional matters, such as portfolio investment acquisitions and joint venture formation.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray in 2021, Rachel served as in-house tax counsel for an international insurance company, focusing her practice on private investments and private equity fund formation and operation. Rachel has also practiced as a tax associate in the private investment fund group of another international law firm and as an associate in the Boston office of a Big Four accounting firm, providing international tax consulting services to corporations, investment firms, and insurance companies.
