Winnie Uluocha is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s health care practice group. She advises health care clients—including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, digital health companies, pharmaceutical companies, and investors—on corporate governance and transactional issues, providing strategic guidance to navigate evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. As a key component of her practice, Winnie counsels clients on a wide range of privacy, security, and data protection matters, including regulatory compliance, incident response, and security breach management. She further advises clients on implementing data privacy strategies that align business operations with best practices, state and federal privacy regulations, and emerging cybersecurity laws. Within her practice, Winnie also provides counsel on a broad range of legal and regulatory requirements associated with clinical research and related matters.
Winnie gained valuable experience through a temporary placement with a leading global organization, where she focused on privacy and security matters in clinical research. While pursuing her joint Master of Health Administration degree, Winnie was a health administrative intern for the Chief Operating Officer of one of the top academic medical centers in the country.
