- Berkshire Partners in its purchase of Skillsoft PLC for $1.1 billion.
- Kickfire in the sale of its assets to Teradata.
- TPG Growth in its acquisition (together with JMI Equity) of Powerplan Consultants.
- Zynga in acquisition of Newtoy.
Other representative matters include:
- Wi-LAN v. Research in Motion et al. – Representation of LG Electronics in a patent infringement action relating to mobile phones and other devices compliant with CDMA 2000 and WiFi standards.
- Representation of United Online and its well-known subsidiaries (FTD, FTD.com, Classmates.com and NetZero) in intellectual property matters, addressing both licensing and the management of intellectual property portfolio assets.
- Worlds.com v. NCsoft – We defended NCSoft in a patent infringement action involving two patents relating to techniques for managing, communicating and displaying user information across multi-player networks.
- Wi-LAN v. Research in Motion et al. – We represented LG Electronics in a patent infringement action relating to mobile phones and other devices compliant with CDMA 2000 and WiFi standards.
- Advanced Data Access LLC v. Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited et al. (E.D. Tex.). We are representing Fujitsu Semiconductor America and Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited in a patent infringement action involving RAM technology.
- Infinity Computer Products, Inc. v. Ricoh Americas – We represent Ricoh in a patent infringement action directed to an interface circuit for connecting a fax machine to a PC and using the fax machine as a scanner or printer.
