Litigation & enforcement partner Amy Jane Longo will participate in a panel discussion organized by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Federal Bar Association on March 12. The discussion is titled “Best Practices for SEC White Collar Attorneys,” and Amy and other experienced SEC practitioners will discuss the strategies that are essential to a successful white-collar practice in SEC enforcement matters.
The speakers will also address the nuances of SEC litigation compared to conventional civil litigation and white collar criminal proceedings and strategies to navigate parallel SEC and criminal proceedings, including with potential Fifth Amendment and joint representation issues. Amy and her fellow panelists will also share lessons learned from recent high-profile trials.
