The SEC rules will for the first time require public companies to make prescribed climate-related disclosures.
It is likely the SEC climate disclosure rules will face legal attacks from both the right and the left. “There is some pragmatism in terms of trying to craft a rule that is more likely than not to withstand legal challenges,” said Michael.
