Ropes & Gray advised Gentiva, a dedicated hospice, palliative and personal care services company, on health care matters in the sale of its personal care operations to Addus HomeCare Corporation for approximately $350 million. Gentiva’s personal care operations serve over 16,000 patients per day in seven states including Arizona, Arkansas, California, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The transaction was announced on June 10.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Gentiva has more than 590 hospice, palliative, home health and personal care locations and thousands of clinicians and caregivers across 38 states.
