Ropes & Gray represented Audax Private Equity in its acquisition of the Clinical Services business of Avantor Inc. Clinical Services provides clinical trial and laboratory supply chain services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and diagnostic laboratories. Audax will acquire Avantor’s clinical services business, including kitting, biorepository, and related equipment and ancillaries. The transaction was announced in an Aug. 16 press release.
