Ropes & Gray advised New Mountain Capital in its growth partnership with Emmes, a global, tech-enabled full-service clinical research organization. As part of the transaction, affiliates of New Mountain will acquire Emmes’ ownership interests from Behrman Capital, the company’s majority investor, and from Emmes’ other investors. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in early July, were not disclosed. The announcement was made on June 21 in a press release.
Emmes is a global, full-service clinical research organization dedicated to excellence in supporting the advancement of public health and biopharmaceutical innovation. New Mountain Capital is a New York-based investment firm with over $37 billion in assets under management.
