Ropes & Gray represented McNally Capital in its investment in Jewett Automation, a leading manufacturer of filtration equipment and custom automation solutions, specializing in highly engineered, automated manufacturing and robotic systems for complex industrial applications. McNally invested in Jewett Automation out of McNally Capital Fund II, the firm’s committed buyout vehicle. The transaction was announced in a February 11 press release.
Based in Chicago, Illinois, McNally Capital is a private equity firm specializing in acquiring founder-, family-, and management-owned businesses in the lower middle market.
