On October 19, the Shanghai office held its inaugural Women’s Forum client event. It was our honor to have Ruby Chen, the Co-Founder and CEO of CNEX Studio and CNEX Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on documentary production, as a keynote speaker to share her inspirational career and life stories.
There was a very interactive Q&A followed by the presentation. Our clients made good reflections of their own career development and personal growth. The event ended on a positive reminder of the importance of building a strong network within our profession, which would not only open up new doors, but also allow us to live up to our full potential.
The event brought together a group of senior in-house counsel, business executives and alumni from AstraZeneca, JP Morgan, KPMG, Lilly Asia Ventures, Medtronic and UBS, etc. Some feedback we have received: “I did enjoy the event and the inspiring sharing session provided Ruby. Thank you for organizing this!” “The event was really meaningful. I especially appreciated how honest and open Ruby was when discussing her own experience. I hope to attend more of this type events in the future!”
