Ropes & Gray attorneys and support team members volunteered at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory on Friday, July 13, to help sort donations and assemble roughly 215 care packages for children.
Cradles to Crayons is a national nonprofit providing children from birth to age 12, living in low-income and homeless situations, with the everyday essential items they need to thrive at home, at school and at play. Neill Jakobe, the managing partner for the Chicago office and an Industry Group Leader for private equity, served on the Cradles to Crayons launch committee and is a member of the Cradles to Crayons corporate board.
Since 2016, Cradles to Crayons has served over 67,000 children in Chicagoland.
