Litigation & enforcement co-chair Gregg Weiner is featured in The American Lawyer’s “Litigation Daily” section as its latest Litigation Leader. Based in Ropes & Gray’s New York office, Gregg represents clients including financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, professional services organizations and hedge funds in a wide range of complex commercial disputes.
In the article, Gregg discusses some of his group’s recent victories and highlights the large, complex cases and investigations that it has been tapped to take on for clients across industries. “Ropes & Gray is known for the smarts and sophistication of its litigators,” he tells AmLaw. “What really sets us apart, though, is the uniquely collaborative culture we practice in which enables us to leverage the experience of our lawyers across geographies and practices.”
Gregg also emphasizes the importance of recruiting, training, and retaining the best talent – both lateral and homegrown. “Litigation is a talent game,” he says in the article. “To succeed, you need the best lawyers on your team.”
