IP transactions partner Megan Baca (Silicon Valley) was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal's 2019 “Women of Influence” list. The list recognizes 100 Silicon Valley women that have each made notable contributions in their communities and careers.
Ms. Baca was recognized for the advice she provides to clients, including advising a Bain Capital-led consortium on key technology and IP risks related to the approximately $18 billion of Toshiba Corporation’s memory chip business, the largest-ever leveraged buyout in Asia. Ms. Baca also advised Bain on the IP matters in the creation of Cerevel Therapeutics with Pfizer Inc., a new biopharmaceutical company focused on central nervous system disorders.
